According to the NEA, Singapore can expect the haze to return in the next month due to El Nino and burning in Malaysia and Indonesia. The pictures above are a reminder of how serious the air pollution was several years ago.
What is especially dangerous about the Haze, is that these tiny particles, called PM2.5 particles of dust and dirt get into your lungs, where they get trapped and can cause a number of serious illnesses including lung cancer. Children and senior adults are especially vulnerable to the effects of this smoke and Haze. Wearing a mask outdoors, especially an N95 mask is helpful, but Singapore's NEA advice is to remain indoors when possible during periods of heavy pollution. Bipolar Ionization has been proven to reduce indoor air articles, including PM10, PM2.5 and even PM1.0 which will float in the air where you can breathe them in. The ProMedUSA's AirPro-MAX produces millions of powerful bipolar (+ and -) oxygen ions that saturate your indoor space. The bipolar oxygen ions attach to these particles, and cause them to "agglomerate" - stick together so they become heavier and drop out of the air. The AirPro-MAX will also help purify your indoor air and remove odours, mould, mildew, viruses and germs. Contact us today and protect your family tomorrow. Comments are closed.
